Roy (Malpi) Marika Lookout is located at Nhulun, the hill in the centre of the Nhulunbuy township. From the lookout tower you can take in panoramic views of Gayngaru Wetlands, Gove Harbour, and the township. Interpretive signage provides a brief history of the region, and tells the story of the creation ancestor that once walked through this land, and how the Yolngu now manage their land and sea after a long struggle for land rights.
