George 4th Inn And Scharers Little Brewery

George Harper of 'Abbotsford' built the George IV Inn in 1839. The sweeping veranda's, courtyard and sprawling sandstone structures are typical of this period. A boutique brewery has been established on the premises known as Scharer's Little Brewery, with beer brewed in the traditional German method. It is a traditional country pub with relaxed atmosphere, serving award winning, traditional German beer including over 15 beers from locally and well know Australian beers. There is a great restaurant and leafy courtyard. Live music Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Trivia Wednesday night from 7pm - prizes to be won. Functions and meetings are strictly by prior arrangement.
